Seasonal flowers, garden walks and selected hands-on sessions make this a botanical-garden outing. Choose a workshop date rather than assuming the full programme runs daily.

Paintings and prints explore café culture and artistic exchange from Impressionism to Picasso. A central-city indoor stop; works differ between the two display periods.

A community exchange day focused on international cultures. It offers a different reason to visit Peace Memorial Park; older programme photos do not guarantee this year’s activities.

Winter light installations link Peace Boulevard with central shopping streets. Plan a flexible evening stroll; individual shops and venues keep their own opening and admission rules.
Begin with one arrival-side orientation point, then keep one coherent area as the priority. Add a second area only if your own pace leaves room. Before committing to a changing detail, return to the relevant official page and keep a smaller same-scope fallback.
Travel decisions
Hiroshima Station is a main rail arrival and transfer hub, separate from the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park sightseeing core. Follow signs for the Hiroden streetcar stop in the station building's second-floor central atrium. Use this current boarding location rather than the former ground-level forecourt.
Once in the central peace area, walking between the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park is a reasonable default if you are comfortable on foot. Leave room for learning and reflection, and choose any nearby downtown walking by your own pace. This compact sightseeing area does not include Hiroshima Station as an adjacent stop.
Miyajima is not a Hiroshima city-core stop: the official route from Hiroshima Station includes a connection at Miyajimaguchi and a ferry. For a short stay, keep one city-core priority; a flexible or overnight plan can give a separately chosen excursion more of the plan after you recheck access.
Choose the main city decision first, then let current transport, weather and the return plan determine whether another stop fits.
Use the Atomic Bomb Dome image as peace-area place context. Choose a current station-to-Peace Park transport mode, leave room for learning and reflection, and keep Miyajima separate.
