Travel decisions
The retained local source places the Okayama City Momotarou Tourism Center on the station premises on the Shinkansen side. Treat the Station as an arrival-orientation reference, not as a promise that a counter, staff member, connection or service will be available. When changing districts, use the official start-and-destination query workflow to check the current option rather than relying on an assumed route.
The JNTO destination page identifies Okayama Castle and Okayama Korakuen as city landmarks, while Kurashiki is a distinct nearby area. Treat the Castle/Korakuen side as one possible city-centred core, then decide separately whether another area belongs in the plan. Do not turn that choice into a same-day schedule or a promise that the places are connected by a particular route.
For a short stop, keep Station orientation and one chosen city core. For a more flexible visit, add one separately chosen interest only after checking current details; if you stay overnight, it can remain a next-day decision. This is a planning shape, not a duration, opening-hours, fare, ticket, route or live-service promise, and it does not depend on the current exhibition card.
