The harbour-wide synchronized show and the installations at Osanbashi and Yamashita Park are different viewing experiences. Use the short show times to choose a viewpoint instead of expecting continuous synchronized effects.
Travel decisions
Yokohama can be a distinct waterfront-city focus in a wider Tokyo-area trip. Keep your arrival anchor separate from the waterfront area you choose first, then confirm current transport details directly before a commitment.
The official Yokohama visitor guide lists Minato Mirai 21 / Sakuragicho separately from Chinatown / Kannai / Yamashita Park. Start with one group as the main focus and leave the other optional instead of forcing a cross-city checklist.
For a shorter or evening-led visit, keep the plan within one chosen area group. A flexible or overnight stay can leave a second group optional after you check current official details; do not assume walking or local-transit performance across the city.
