Lupin III Kabuki: Hekisui no Reijo — Minamiza

Kataoka Ainosuke plays both Lupin and Ishikawa Goemon, with Nakamura Yonekichi as Princess Seori. The familiar Lupin group, Fujiko, Jigen and pursuing Zenigata are reworked within the kabuki story. Daytime and evening sessions present the same play, so choosing between them is a timing decision rather than a choice of different programmes. The combination of familiar Lupin characters and Minamiza's theatre setting offers a specific cultural outing beside the Gion-Shijo area. The run is 2–26 September 2026, with public starts at 11:00 and/or 16:00 only on the organiser's calendar. There is no public performance on 3, 7, 10, 12, 15 or 20 September. The remaining 18–26 September public sessions are: both times on 18, 19, 22, 24 and 25; 11:00 only on 21, 23 and 26. Published prices including tax are ¥16,000 first class, ¥9,000 second class, ¥6,000 third class and ¥17,000 special seats. Availability must be checked for the exact session and seating category.

Access

Shochiku lists Minamiza immediately outside Keihan Gion-Shijo Station exit 6, or a three-minute walk from Hankyu Kyoto-Kawaramachi Station exit 1. The published running schedule is approximately 11:00–14:30 or 16:00–19:30, including 30-minute and 20-minute intervals. Reserve that block plus arrival time; these scheduled finish times can change and should not be used for a tight onward connection.

Rain

Private bookings can be added, and the organiser warns that performance dates, running times and casting may change. Recheck the public-session calendar before buying; do not interpret a date inside the run as an available show. The performance page links Shochiku's authorised ticket channels and its resale service; a sales link is not a claim that your preferred seats are still available.

Crowds

The organiser notes school groups at selected daytime performances, including 18, 19, 24 and 25 September. This does not mean those public sessions are private; ticket availability still depends on the booked seat and session.

Nearby spots

Gion-Shijo and Kyoto-Kawaramachi are the stated station approaches. Keep any walk or meal around those areas outside the full performance block rather than planning to leave mid-programme.
